In the remote snow-covered woods, a pregnant woman returns to her estranged father’s secluded religious commune for a family funeral, dragging her reluctant husband into a world she tried to leave behind. As cryptic rituals unfold and the community’s unsettling traditions surface, it becomes clear that her unborn child may be at the center of a prophecy—one tied to purity, sacrifice, and survival. Led by their leader known only as the Father, the group teeters between faith and fanaticism. The Father is a tense, slow-burning descent into inherited belief, control, and the terrifying power of a community convinced it's been chosen.
