Born in Iran and raised between cultures, Nima’s storytelling is shaped by displacement, duality, and the quiet tension of living between identities. He is less interested in spectacle than in atmosphere, less in answers than in emotional resonance.
His short film The Old Man and the Barber, which premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival in 2025, reflects his fascination with fragile human interiors and restrained performance. His developing feature work explores elevated genre through character-driven lenses, examining how power, memory, and inherited trauma shape behavior beneath the surface.
As a composer, Nima has scored internationally recognized projects including Detroit: Become Human, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and Star Wars Eclipse. His approach to music mirrors his filmmaking: textured, restrained, emotionally precise. For him, sound is not accompaniment but architecture.
